Easy to fit.
This was a relatively easy to fit part, simply remove six screws from the back of the DSX9, seperate the two radio halves, clean off the epoxy used by previous owner to temporarily fix the broken antenna, remove the screw holding the antenna in place, disconnect wire from rf deck, slide out metal and plastic ring, remove old antenna, then reverse for fitting the new one. The hardest part is fitting the fidgety connector onto the socket on the RF deck.
Makes my radio look brand new even though I bought it second hand.
